The agri-food sector currently faces challenges that require innovative, sustainable, and effective responses. It is one of the main drivers of economic growth in the Region of Murcia, generating 20% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and being its main exporting sector. At the national level, Murcia is ranked as the leading province in fruit and vegetable exports. Therefore, the Master's degree offers the possibility of acquiring all the competencies and tools of the sector. The agri-food industry is one of our most recognizable hallmarks at the local level, driving and creating other innovative industries related to some phase of its chain, such as water management, agricultural technology, or packaging.

• To enable a thorough study and analysis of the agri-food sector and action plan: current situation and market evolution.

• To know the entire value chain process starting from production and mechanization to the use of fertilizers and growing substrates, as well as seeds and varieties, to the distribution line, from the processed product to the end consumer at the time and place of purchase

After that, the candidate will be invited for a personal interview (if residing in Spain) or a video conference (for international candidates). If you wait until the last minute, all the spots may be taken. You do not need to wait until you have all the required supporting documents to submit your online application. Keep in mind that the admission process is lengthy and has several steps that are not entirely under your control. These include gathering the necessary documentation (academic record, university certificate, etc.), proving your proficiency in English or Spanish depending on the language of instruction, applying for a visa (if applicable), and finding accommodation in Murcia.
